What types of Staplers do you repair?
-All types. Small manual staplers, heavy duty staplers, electric staplers
and stitchers.
How do I go about getting my stapler serviced or repaired?
-The simplest way is to package your stapler and then ship or carry it to
our office.
Should I call ahead before sending my stapler in for repair?
-While it is not necessary to call ahead, we recommend that you do. By
calling ahead we'll be able to discuss specifics of your repair, as well as meet
any special requests you may have.
How long does a typical repair take?
-Unless we have to special order parts, repairs normally take 1-2
business days.
How much does it cost?
-Stapler repairs are $15 + parts and return shipping. Stitcher repairs
are $25 + parts and return shipping.
Our print shop has a great maintenance department and they like to do
their own repairs. Can we purchase just parts from you?
-Yes, we'd be happy to supply the parts you need and answer any questions
you have about doing repairs yourself.
Now that my stapler is repaired and working properly, are there steps I
can take to keep them working?
- ABSOLUTELY. While all staplers do have parts that will wear out over
time, you can minimize the down time of your machines by following a few simple
guidelines.
- Use the correct staple for your machine. A very large percentage of repairs
we do can be directly attributed to the use of the wrong staple.
- OIL, all staplers have parts that need light oil, such as 3-in-1 oil. It
only takes a drop every so often, but makes a difference. If you don't know your
staplers oil points, call us, we will help you identify them.
- When your stapler gets jammed...STOP!!! Repeatedly trying to force a jammed
stapler results in significant damage. Know your machine's procedure for
clearing the jam. We like to call #3, "How to keep Johnson Stapler Repair in
